HELLO, FUTURE BASS MEMBERS
2018 marks a year of several changes for Future Bass Trails. Changes regarding tournament entry fees, Big Bass, a $50 side pot and championship qualifying.
In years past, it's been common talk regarding small payback checks. With an entry fee of only $130., which included $5 for big bass, it just doesn't go far. By the time we paid out big bass, two places for the highest finishing minor, and the championship fee, it only left enough for small checks. Future Bass has been truly Blessed in the fact that our membership has grown every year. With the new changes, I think our membership will continue to grow with a lot less talk of small checks, and a lot more smiles. We still can't pay 150%, but it will be real close to 100 % by the end of the year. Following is a breakdown of the new entry fees.
MEMBERSHIP $50.00 (unchanged)
ENTRY FEE $130.00 (big bass no longer included)
OPTIONAL BIG BASS $20.00 (pays 3 places 50%, 30%, 20% = 100%)
OPTIONAL SIDE POT $50.00 (pays 3 places 50%, 30%, 20% = 100%)
Depending on how many teams enter the optional side pot, a team can win over $3,000.00 for first place. Another new for 2018, If a team qualifies for a championship, they qualify for both championships. Also, Precision Construction Group will be cooking a banquet dinner at each championship on Saturday afternoon with all proceeds going to the OK KIDS KORRAL.
